Educational objectives

The major in Political Science and International Relations is dedicated to the study of global interactions, both intellectually and practically. It represents a fusion of economic, political, legal, ideological, cultural, and social dimensions, aiming to develop the theoretical and practical skills of students, prepare them to follow the evolution of knowledge, and transfer knowledge of international relations from theory to reality.

  • Develop writing skills for the preparation of articles, reports, and research, training students in the conventions of political writing.

After obtaining the Bachelor’s degree, students have the opportunity to specialize in a Master’s in Political Science focused on international relations, political and institutional communication, international cooperation and development, among other areas.

  • Diplomatic corps (competition organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
  • Enlist in the National Security and National Gendarmerie as an officer.
